  • User App individuals using TopedoX to browse, book, buy, or interact with services.
  • Partner App businesses, contractors, and service providers listing or selling services.

By using either app, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data as described here.

Definitions

  • Personal Data any information identifying or identifiable to a natural person (POPIA/GDPR/CCPA).
  • Processing collection, storage, use, disclosure, or deletion of Personal Data.
  • User anyone using the User App.
  • Partner any registered entity or individual using the Partner App
  • Subscriber a User or Partner paying for subscription services.

User App collects:

  • Name, email, phone number, profile details
  • Payment information (for subscription or transactions)
  • Location data (if using location-based services)
  • Audio, images, camera, contacts, PDFs or any document if permission granted by the user for communicating with the Users.
  • Interaction data (listings viewed, messages, activity logs)

Partner App collects:

  • Business name, registration documents, tax information
  • Contact person details (name, email, phone)
  • Payment account and banking information
  • Service listing information (description, pricing, images)
  • Audio, images, camera, contacts, PDFs or any document if permission granted by the user for communicating with the Users.

Purposes Of Data Use

  • Provide and operate the Platform and related services
  • Authenticate accounts and process subscriptions
  • Improve user experience, recommend content or services
  • Detect and prevent fraud, scams, or abuse
  • Comply with legal obligations and regulatory requirements
  • Communicate updates, offers, and policy changes (with opt-out options)

Data Sharing & Disclosure

Service Providers Payment processors, cloud storage, analytics tools.

Legal Obligations Disclosure to law enforcement or government authorities as required.

User Rights & Partner Rights

Complaints Users and Partners may submit complaints to TopedoX or the relevant data protection authority.

Data Retention

  • Personal Data is retained only as long as necessary to provide services, comply with law, or resolve disputes.
  • Users’ and Partners’ inactive accounts may have data archived or anonymized after 24 months.

  • Industry standard encryption for data in transit and at rest
  • Multi factor authentication for accounts with sensitive data
  • Regular audits and security assessments
  • Immediate reporting and remediation for breaches

Cookies & Tracking

  • We use cookies, analytics, and tracking technologies for App performance, security, and personalized content.
  • Users/Partners can manage cookies through device settings or App preferences.

Subscription & Cancellation Data Policy

User App Payment history and subscription status stored to manage recurring subscriptions and facilitate refunds where legally required.

Partner App Subscription, billing, and cancellation records retained for financial auditing and compliance purposes.

User Breach of Terms We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, misuse the App, or engage in conduct harmful to other users.

Refunds & Cancellations Handled in accordance with Sections 6.2–6.4 of Partner Terms and Section 7.3 of User Terms.

International Data Transfers

TopedoX may transfer data to countries outside South Africa for hosting or processing.

All transfers comply with POPIA, GDPR, and other applicable privacy laws.

Children’s Privacy

  • TopedoX services are for Users 18+ and Partners 18+
  • No intentional collection of children’s personal data is permitted.

Auto-Renewable Subscription Information

This app offers auto-renewable subscriptions. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at the confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage your subscriptions and turn off auto-renewal by going to your Account Settings after purchase.
